Dynamics of HIV/AIDS

This is a two-day workshop that provides an introduction to HIV/AIDS and related issues. Dynamics is targeted at agency volunteers, allied service providers and the general public in order to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS in the community. It will be of particular interest to those directly impacted by HIV/AIDS, those working or volunteering with organizations serving hard to reach populations, youth counselors; post secondary students in nursing and medicine; social and behavioural sciences; recreation and fitness, and others.

Topics covered:
HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, treatment, harm reduction, population health, universal precautions, gender issues, human rights, and international issues.

This workshop is offered three times per year.
