Walk for Life

EVENT DETAILS

When:	Sunday September 20, 2009, from 11 am to 4 pm
Where:	The 5km event begins at Churchill Square, winds through Edmonton's downtown core to the Legislature building, and returns to the start.
Who:	500 concerned, motivated and committed particpants will collect pledges between now and event day.  Participants can come out as individuals or as part of a team.
What:	On event day, participants will turn in their pledges, walk the 5km course, and return to the start for free food, live music and entertainment for the whole family.
Goals:	$120,000, to be achieved by participants and an additional $50,000 in corporate sponsorship.
