IS YOUR ORGANIZATION ENGAGED IN THE FIGHT AGAINST HIV/AIDS?
If so, the 2010 AIDS Walk for Life is your chance to raise some funds your organization can use to continue HIV/AIDS work.
HIV Edmonton partners with like-minded organizations to benefit everyone. As host agency of the Walk for Life, we provide:
§ all promotional materials for recruiting walkers
§ hosting and management of the website
§ recording, tracking, and management of participants and pledges
§ incentive prizes
§ coordination of event-day activities
§ tax receipts for donations and a list of donors to your agency
The administration fee for the above services is just 15% of the gross pledges your organization brings in. The remainder of the pledges is split evenly between you and HIV Edmonton. So if your team of eight raises $2,000, almost half that amount, or $900, remains with your organization to be used for HIV/AIDS work.
As a partner in the fight against HIV and AIDS, you know that people with HIV have to fight for acceptance, inclusion, and respect, as well as for their lives. You also know that it doesn’t have to be this way.
