Support & Outreach

HIV Edmonton provides in office support to people living with HIV/AIDS and people who are at risk.  Services include:

-  One-on-one support to people living with HIV by support workers and peer support workers
-  Referral to physicians, dentists, therapeutic counseling and social services agencies
-  Referral for the Edmonton Foodbank, Bissell store and similar services
-  One-on-one education for people living with HIV/AIDS and people who are at risk
-  Streetworks needle exchange
-  Access to computer services for internet usage and word processing
-  Monthly access to hygiene and health products (shampoo, vitamins, etc.)
-  Treatment information support

HIV Edmonton also provides outreach services at a variety of agencies in Edmonton. HIV Edmonton staff will attend testing appointments and physician appointments when possible for registered clients.
