Community Education Coordinator
If you have a passion for community-based adult learning; a strong knowledge of HIV / AIDS to help people living with, affected by and at risk of the disease; and want to work in an intentionally diverse, creative and human relationship-centered environment – you may be interested in this opportunity.

The purpose of this position is to serve as the primary facilitator for a designated list of workshops, respond to external requests for workshop delivery, coordinate the volunteer involvement in community education, implement the HIV Edmonton evaluation framework in community education, and participate in ongoing program development and instructional design activities.

Operations Coordinator

The purpose of the Operations Coordinator position is to provide direct daily support to the staff and ensure that the daily operations of the agency are being handled in an efficient and professional manner.

Support & Outreach Worker
If you want to work in an intentionally diverse, creative and human relationship-centered environment – you may be interested in this opportunity.

The purpose of this position is to provide HIV specific support and outreach to people living with HIV and those at risk of HIV. It is also to provide harm reduction and prevention education to people living with HIV on a one-to-one basis.

Support & Outreach Worker - Part Time
If you want to work directly with people living with HIV/AIDS and support them to live the "quality life" of their own definition, you may be interested in this opportunity.

Note: People living with HIV/AIDS are strongly encouraged to apply for this position. The position will remain open until an appropriate candidate can be found.

CATIE Workshop on Treatment Issues

HIV Edmonton and the Canadian AIDS Treatment Information Exchange (CATIE) is offering a free, 2-day workshop on treatment issues.  The workshop is scheduled from 9am - 5pm, September 12-13, 2007 at HIV Edmonton (#300 11456 Jasper Avenue)

The topics covered in the workshops and information about the CATIE Capacity Building Project are listed below. You will be provided with an HIV Foundations workshop CD to review before the 2-day workshop to familiarize yourself with the basics of treatment issues.

Travel and accommodation will be provided by CATIE on a first come first serve basis. Lunch and snacks are provided for all participants on both days.
